NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DATES

The Barry Lawrence County Ambulance District will have 2 Board Member positions
available for election in the April 7, 2026, General Municipal Election.

Monett/Freistatt (Forest Park & Freistatt Precincts) District 3-Lawrence County for a term of 3 years 

Monett District 6-Barry County for a term of 3 years

The opening date for candidate filing is December 9, 2025 at 8am, and the closing filing
date is December 30, 2025 at 5pm.

Candidates may file for office at 307 Dairy Street Monett, MO 65708

Between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm.
The office may be closed should inclement weather occur.
Candidates will be listed on the ballot in the order in which they file.

OR

Candidates will draw a number on the first day of filing to determine their place on the
ballot and those who file thereafter will be placed on the ballot in the order in which they

file.

In Memoriam

On September 23rd 2016 Barry Lawrence County Ambulance District lost a long time staple of EMS to a battle with cancer. For 18 years, John "Wes" Wesley Green served the community of Monett and the surrounding areas with his love of the job and never ending compassion doing what he truly loved to do. You will always be in our hearts and on every call in spirit. Barry Lawrence County Ambulance District thanks you for your service and dedication to those we serve. God speed Wes.
